 | EEA originally stemmed from New Horizons. New
Horizons was started in 2005-2006 with a student population of 9, one teacher,
one paraprofessional and a Americorps worker. |
 | In its second year, New Horizons grew to an
enrollment of 25 with two full time teachers, a paraprofessional and one
Americorps worker. New Horizons had to expand to grade 9 due to parent
request. |

 | In 2007 EEA started its first year with 30 students in 9th
and 10th grade. New Horizons now enrolls 6th through 8th grade.
Each school has two teachers, one paraprofessional and one Americorps worker. |
 | 2008-2009 EEA graduated its first student this year.

 | 2009-2010 EEA will have its first full class of graduates.
Five of the 17 seniors also participated in Youth Options, a program that pays
for up to 18 credits at the local University or Technical College.

 | 2010-2011 EEA and New Horizons combined and moved into its
new location on the second level of Wausau East High School. EEA
graduated a small class of two seniors. It is tranisition year to get
acquainted with a bigger school, new location and Apex (new curriculum). |
